When you've made a change, you can include a commit message to provide your rationale, so that you and your teammates will understand the "why" of the change, not just the "what".
Changes are sent to Slack so that your team stay up to date with the tools that you share. Changes are also available as a JSON-based git export, allowing you to write integration tests for changes to your SaaS tools.
